The Los Altos Rotary invites you to join the fun of seeing artist bears all over downtown Los Altos, CA.
Come visit the bears in person downtown Los Altos, or scroll through the gallery and bid now on your favorite bears or on Oct 9th at the virtual auction. Your winning bid supports local charitable organizations, which receive 75% of your tax-deductible bid. Your support also benefits our local artists who painted the bears; they receive 25% of your bid. Artists welcomed this opportunity to come out of creative hibernation.
You can find my mosaic bears - Miss Daisy, and Nanuk, the polar bear, in front of Lisas Tea Treasures (Main St) and The Nature Store (State St).

Both bears have been successfully auctioned for over 5k and are with their new owners now. If you are interested in commisioning another similar bear or animal please contact me.

The One Hundred Moments in Mosaic project is a non-juried collection of work representing the full spectrum of SAMA’s (the Society of American Mosaic Artists) diverse and richly creative membership. An open call was issued to members to create a 6” x 6” mosaic, using materials of their choice and original design.
The work of seasoned professionals is displayed alongside enthusiastic newcomers to the mosaic making process, culminating in 100+ moments of life rendered in mosaic by artists from all over the world.
This collection was presented at Coverings, in Orlando, Florida, July 7-9, 2021 and on the SAMA website through November 2021. Various works are for sale, with the proceeds benefiting SAMA and the artist.
